Priyanka Chopra ho had her hands full with various Hollywood projects and hr American V sow ‘Quntico’ is finally all set to come back her home ground which is Bollywood. Just like how her fans have missed seeing her in Hindi films, the global star too missed being a part of Bollywood. Recently, PeeCee shared a snippet of her script-reading session with Shonali Bose’s next titled ‘The Sky is Pink’.
Earlier it was reported that Abhishek Bachchan will be paired opposite her in the film, but he reportedly passed on the offer. Now, it is being reported that Priyanka’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Farhan Akhat has come on board for the project. Farhan will apparently be playing Priyanka’s love interest in the movie.
Zaira Wasim from the ‘Secret Superstar’ fame will also be reportedly joining the cast of ‘The Sky is Pink’. She will be playing the role of Farhan and Priyanka’s daughter in the film. While Priyanka and Zaira have begun their preparation for the film, Shonali is yet to officially announce Farhan’s entry as the lead actor. The film will reportedly go on floor in the month of August.
For the uninitiated, ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is a story about a young girl named Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. She became a motivational speaker after her diagnosis. She even came out with a book, ‘My Little Epiphanies’. However, Aisha Chaudhary breathed her last at the age of 18 on January 24th, 2015.
