Rajkummar Rao is one of the most promising actors in the Bollywood industry today. Not only does his screen presence personify the excellence required to be an artiste but his choice of films also set an example for every aspiring actor.
Recently, Rajkummar interacted with a daily where he was appreciated the work of all his contemporaries in a spectacular way. He said that it thrills him to watch Varun [Dhawan] doing an ‘October’ or Ranveer [Singh] playing [Alauddin] Khilji or Ranbir [Kapoor] starring in the Dutt biopic as it very encouraging and satisfactory that to see the new breed of actors trying to bring in a change and pushing the boundaries together.
He also spoke about senior actors’ out-of-the-box work and cited examples of Shah Rukh Khan taking up a role of a dwarf in ‘Zero’ and Salman Khan doing an extraordinary job in ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Rajkummar also went on to laud Amitabh Bachchan’s ways of challenging himself with every third film and how he appears new and different in each of his films.
He also credited people whom he has worked with as they encouraged him to perform in the best way possible on the big screen. He concluded by saying that he has always got team players who made exemplary work possible and has never met someone, who is a corrupt film-maker and plays gimmicks.
On the work front, Rajkummar will next be seen in ‘Fanney Khan’, which is slated to release on August 3rd, 2018.
