Taapsee Pannu has carved a niche
for herself with her versatility and choice of films. Without any
hesitations, the ‘Pink’ actress has chosen films which are highly
content-driven and offer her a chance to experiment with herself.
The
actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Soorma’ where
she will be seen in a sportsperson’s avatar. Starring Diljit Dosanjh as
the male lead, the movie is based on the life of National Hockey
Champion Sandeep Singh.
As per latest reports, considering her
upcoming projects in Bollywood, Taapsee has apparently hiked her fee for
Hindi films. Before making it big in Bollywood, Taapsee was an integral
part of the Southern film industry. And because of her popularity down
South, Taapsee’s fans often watch her Hindi movies as well which has in
turn added to the filmmakers’ advantage.
Thus, Taapsee has
reportedly decided to increase her remuneration for Bollywood movies to
match up to what she gets paid for her regional stints.
Apart
from ‘Soorma’, Taapsee will also be seen sharing the screen with Rishi
Kapoor in ‘Mulk’. She also has ‘Manmarziyaan’ lined up in her kitty
which has Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
