As a celebrity, social media has
taken a lot of importance for them getting and maintaining their ever
increasing fans. Bollywood superstars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan
and Amitabh Bachchan are one of the most active users of social media
platforms like Twitter with a lot of followers. However, lately these
actors have lost out on a lot of them on the microblogging platform.
According to reports, Big B has lost more than 4 lakh followers while SRK and Salman have also lost more than 3 lakh followers each. This has happened in light of Twitter’s new cleanup drive that is taking down all fake and inactive accounts in order to curb trolling and cyber bullying. As a result, the effect has been rather global with these stars experiencing a more significant loss in numbers than other celebs.
Other B-towners like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have also experienced a dip in number of followers much like their male counterparts.
